Virtual Reality/Video Game Immersion Just Got Seriously Cheap!
Have you ever wanted a more immersive video gaming experience? Tired of spending thousands of dollars on multiple monitors just to feel like you’re in the game? Does Nvidia 3d Surround and AMD Eyefinity Cost way too much? Kinect and PlayStation eye not doing it for you? Do you want a visually immersive experience just about on any gaming platform. Well, look no further! In this video, our group of three ECE students(Chris Koelling, Sarathi Sathasivan, and Edward Wang) (two software engineers and one power systems engineer) made a project that allows for a more immersive gameplay environment for only 0. If you have a sweet surround sound system, the natural thing to do when you hear a sound to your left is to look left. With our system you can now do that without ever taking your eyes off the screen for one second. Just think! You could literally peak around a corner in Modern Warfare 3 and Battlefield 3 without even having to move your character. If you think you would use this technology, then please help us bring this to market by spreading the word. The last thing we want to see is this becoming just another novelty technology.
